Luxury IWC Schauffhausen pilot’s replica watches sale

At the Important Watches auction held earlier today in Geneva, auction house Sotheby’s sold a unique chronograph by luxury Swiss replica watchmaker IWC Schaffhausen. The Pilot’s Watch Double Chronograph Edition “Le Petit Prince” in red gold went for CHF 47,500. All the proceeds from the sale will benefit the Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Youth Foundation, with whom IWC Schaffhausen has been working closely for many years. The Foundation will use the money to support a hospitality and catering school in the northern Thai city of Mae Sot, which offers training courses for young Thais.

IWC replica watchesThe replica watch that went under the hammer was the Pilot’s Replica Watch Double Chronograph Edition “Le Petit Prince” (Ref. IW371810) in red gold. This luxury replica watches features a mechanical 79420-calibre chronograph movement and a split-seconds mechanism. One unique feature is the day display in the centre of the midnight blue dial, which is illuminated by a different gold star on each day of the week. The stars symbolize the seven planets visited by the little prince on his journey through the universe. The seven stars are also decoratively engraved on the back of the replica watch, along with the names of the inhabitants the little prince encounters along the way.

The Foundation was established in 2008 by the heirs of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and seeks to maintain the spirit and humanistvalues of the great French writer and aviator. It supports a host of projects all over the world to improve the day-to-day lives of young people and offer them a brighter future. “Support for children and young people facing challenging circumstances is one of the cornerstones of our corporate social responsibility. That’s why we have been working closely with the Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Youth Foundationever since it was established, cultivating an intensive and fruitful partnership,” explains Georges Kern, CEO of IWC Schaffhausen.

Practical training for Thai youth

The proceeds from the auction will be used to support the Hospitality and Catering Training Center (HCTC) in the city of Mae Sot in north-west Thailand. The school was set up in 2009 by a French aid organization and focuses on helping young Thais from the minority Karen population. As they often speak neither Thai nor English and are poorly integrated in the education system, they stand little chance of success on the job market. In a two-year training programme, the school provides the Karen youth, who are aged between 17 and 23, with the skills they need to enter  the world of work and to earn a living in the Thai hospitality sector. “The school not only provides a high-quality IWC replica practical education, it also fosters the development of the students into responsible citizens. The project therefore reflects the core values of our Foundation,” explains Olivier d’Agay, great-nephew of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and delegate general of the Saint-Exupéry–d’Agay estate, outlining the motivation for getting involved. With the funding received, the quality of the education and training on offer can yet again be increased further. At the heart of the project is the construction of an educational garden. The Little Prince Educational Garden will not only enrich the curriculum, but will also supply the school’s onsite restaurant with fresh vegetables and herbs. The donation will also be used to build a resource centre replete with books and computers. With its wide selection, the library will promote a love of reading, whereas new multimedia devices will be used to modernize both vocational training and language teaching. The money will also help to fund language teaching, pay for new furniture and enable muchneeded renovation work.

Third auction held to raise money for Saint-Exupéry foundation

This is the third joint auction organized by IWC Schaffhausenand Sotheby’s Geneva to raise money for the Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Youth Foundation. Two years ago, a Big Pilot’sWatch Perpetual Calendar Edition “Le Petit Prince” was sold to the highest bidder. The Foundation used the proceeds of CHF 173,000 to open two school buildings complete with a library in Cambodia and to fund library buses that supply people in remote areas with reading material, thus playing a huge role in the fight to eradicate illiteracy in Siem Reap Province. Last year, a Pilot’s Replica Watches Chronograph Edition “The Last Fight” in platinum went under the hammer. The proceeds enabled a Brazilian children’s hospital to build a library filled with books, computers and e-books. The new facility was inaugurated by Brazilian supermodel and IWC Brand Ambassador Adriana Lima in April 2015.

Independent Swiss replica watchmaking shines in Dubai

Swiss replica watches cheap sale online for fake watches collectors—The first edition of Dubai Replica Watch Week, organised by Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, turned the spotlight on independent replica watchmakers. The very ones most likely to interest replica watches collectors.

Ostensibly, Bovet Fleurier and Christiaan van der Klaauw have little in common. One bears the name of a celebrated watchmaker who set up in business in the nineteenth century; the other is named after a contemporary movement-maker. One wrote some of the finest pages in the history of Swiss horology; the other is Dutch and a member of the Académie Horlogère des Créateurs Indépendants, a cosmopolitan group if ever there was. Little in common, yet both travelled to Dubai to spend time with the region’s cheap replica watches enthusiasts, proof of a certain meeting of minds.

Bovet Fleurier, a heritage in its hands

Pascal Raffy, owner of Bovet Fleurier since 2001, strides through the Dubai International Financial Center, the venue for the event, with the confident air of a man with a clear mind. Clear he made the right choice when he took over a brand with production of just 133 watches. Clear he made the right move five years later by equipping the brand with the manufacturing capacity it lacked, and transferring the business to Château de Môtier, a property of the Bovet family whose debuts in Bovet replica watchmaking date back to 1822. “Over fourteen years, we have gradually incorporated production of movements, balance springs, dials and cases without selling our soul,” he remarks. “At each point in this vertical integration, we have had one specific and clear idea in mind, which is to safeguard Bovet’s heritage. I personally believe that people must remain at the heart of watchmaking.”

Dubai Watch Week CalibreImageEven at a time when numerous markets are in disarray, Pascal Raffy has the assurance that Bovet abides by the belief that solidity is more important than show. “Back in 2013 I sensed that the future would hold some surprises, and not necessarily of the good kind, so I calculated budgets based on zero growth for the years 2014 to 2016. This meant we were ready to face the situation as it stands today. Yes, circumstances are difficult but overall I can already say that 2015 will be a satisfactory year.” The recent introduction of the 19Thirty collection is doubtless one of the reasons why. By launching its first steel watch, inspired by one of its own pocket chronometers from the 1930s, Bovet widens its appeal while continuing to embrace the passion that has inspired Pascal Raffy, from the very beginning of the brand’s contemporary adventure, for “timepieces that have something to say.”

Christiaan van der Klaauw, intelligible astronomy

When Van Cleef & Arpels unveiled its Midnight Planetarium, the public at large discovered a previously unfamiliar name: that of movement-maker Christiaan van der Klaauw. Established in 1974 by the eponymous replica Van Cleef & Arpels watchmaker, a member of the Académie Horlogère des Créateurs Indépendants, the brand is unique as the only workshop to produce nothing but timepieces with astronomical complications. Originally specialised in clocks, next year the brand will celebrate the twentieth anniversary of its first ever wristwatch, the CVDK Satellite du Monde. “There is a long tradition of astronomy in the Netherlands, particularly since the work of Christiaan Huygens,” explains CEO and Creative Director Daniël Reintjes. “With our Christiaan van der Klaauw timepieces, our wish is to perpetuate this science by devoting ourselves entirely to astronomical indications.” After a decade designing watches for the brand, in 2009 Reintjes succeeded Mr Van der Klaauw at the head of the company, with three friends as fellow shareholders.

Daniël Reintjes“Since then we have focused on modernising Christiaan van der Klaauw. The brand’s replica watches tended to be extremely complex and assuring reliability was sometimes an issue. Our first step was to look for ways we could simplify our watches and make them more easily legible, more intelligible, using quality automatic movements. We buy our base calibres in Switzerland and develop the additional astronomical modules ourselves, in-house. We currently have three watchmakers and sufficient capacity to produce between one and eight watches per module and per year. Obviously our objective is to grow not so much in quantity but in terms of creativity.” Collectors can but approve.

Replica DeWitt Twenty-8-Eight Skeleton Tourbillon Watches Swiss

The Swiss Replica DeWitt calibre DW8028s uses age-old, recognized and highly reliable technical parameters in its construction: 18’000 A/h, a variable-inertia balance, a 44° angle escapement and 72 hours power reserve.

Replica-DeWitt Twenty-8-Eight Skeleton TourbillonEntirely produced in-house, this manually wound Tourbillon is equipped with a Swiss anchor escapement and a spiral made out of an unbreakable, self-compensating, non-oxidizing,anti-magnetic alloy and sequenced at  2.5 Hz. The perfect homogeneity and incredibly precise flat rolling of the Hairspring (0.0001 mm) guarantee an extremely high precision to the mechanism.

Architectural strength and finesse

The Twenty-8-Eight Skeleton Tourbillon does not intend to compete with the ultra-skinny and fragile skeletons where as much material as possible was taken out of the construction. The architecture of DeWitt’s skeleton remains deliberately strong and is therefore very well balanced with the design of the case which features 48 imperial columns. A typical feature of practically all DeWitt masterpieces.

The carved-out main plate, a sand-brushed nickel silver base set with 215 round diamonds, is an impressive labyrinth of curves, circles and straight lines. Meandering across the movement, the lucky observer will suddenly land on a stunning skeletonised “W” logo positioned at 9 o’clock. The play on depths, perspectives and layers is a typical feature of DeWitt designs and the Twenty-8-Eight Skeleton Tourbillon is no exception. The skeletonised “W” logo is actually duplicated on the lower part of the movement in order to offer these interesting volumes when admiring the movement from either side of the replica watches sale.

DeWitt Replica Twenty-8-Eight Skeleton Tourbillon watchesBut however robust the foundations, your eyes will inevitably be dragged deep into the movement and the captivating finesse of its ticking mechanics. You will marvel at the Tourbillon as it gracefully rotates on its axis, held in place by a long, slender and circular- grained Art Déco bridge.

An authentic piece of art

The barrel, positioned at 12 o’clock, is also skeletonised in order to reveal the interior of the motor. The shape given to the open-worked barrel was inspired by the design of vintage car steering wheels. As the barrel wheel gently turns with the unwinding of the spring, the stems of the upper part will glide over the stems of the lower part. Yet another interesting play on layers by DeWitt.

A successful match

The Twenty-8-Eight Skeleton Tourbillon is housed in a 43 mm round case made in 18-carat white gold. Presenting particularly comfortable proportions with redesigned lugs and slightly more discrete imperial columns displayed on its flanks, it remains instantly recognizable and true to DeWitt’s cheap watches replica strong DNA. Its balanced design offers the necessary combination of character and refinement for a successful wedding with the architectural lines of the skeleton movement.

DeWitt and its passion for exceptional

The Twenty-8-Eight Skeleton Tourbillon fully complies with the very demanding finishing norms of the DeWitt Manufacture. Entirely hand-made, the treatment and finishing-work on this piece are of a rare quality. Case, plate, bridges, wheels and even miniature screws are all angled, polished, satin-finished and treated to perfection in the patient and meticulous hands of our watchmakers.

Last but not least, a particularity of all watches coming out of the DeWitt Manufacture, every high complication replica watches is entirely assembled, adjusted and tested by a single master watchmaker.

About the Hubolt replica watch

Replica HublotWith the Big Bang Broderie, and the principle of fusion so dear to the brand: Hublot connects the past to the future, and draws a respect for Swiss tradition into the creativity and technology of the 21st century. Its attractive fine embroidery, a feminine material par excellence, sits next to the skin and is synonymous with intimacy…Romantic, sexy, and as delicate as it is playful, this expertise masters the fine art of teasing without showing. Paying tribute to the memory of the needlework of our ancestresses, with fine Saint Gall embroidery—a 100% Swiss-made Hublot replica ancestral art—produced by the Swiss flagship company Bischoff, Hublot continues to revisit craftsmanship in its own style. Together, the creative teams of the two houses thus developed an exclusive pattern that could join with the Big Bang’s iconic design. A rebel spirit featuring a skull design on a dial framed with 11 diamonds, with soft arabesques for the bezel and the strap, the technical execution alone required several months of research and development.

This is the 5th time that Hublot has been recognised by the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève.
